Traumer stiffly limped out of the cover of the forest to a nice patch of shade. sniffing around she sat down. The wind blew making her soot colored fur fly in different directions. Sighing she rolled out her tired shoulders. a few birds flew right by her nose making her stomach growl with hunger. Traumer had not eaten in days but did not want to stop long enough now. she stiffly fell down on her side down on the soft sand like ground. her nose on her paws. deciding she would take a quick nap she curled up in a ball enjoying what little sun light seeped through the leaves of a near by tree.

Peloria's curious mind drew her to the lake today. As her long, light tan legs pushed her forward, her nose picked up into the wind and her ears stood high on her cranium. A dark, dust colored banner swayed behind her, brushing the top of her haunches as she eagerly sped up towards the lake. It had been at least a day since she had last stopped to drink, and her thirst pushed her legs forward with each passing second. She enclosed upon the lake, sticking her maw in hungrily. As she did so, she failed to catch the scent of another wolf around her, and she drank with a focus so direct on the water that she hadn't a chance of catching it anyways.

Traumer jumped at the sound of foot steps near by. her curiosity got the best of her and she stiffly got to her paws and crept towards the edge of the lake. a lean brown wolf was lapping at the cool water. she licked her jaws at the thought of water. she was very thirsty. she could also use a good washing and the water would do the trick. her black fur was matted and covered in dirt. her brown markings non visible. She slowly inched towards the lake when she stepped on a twig making all the birds fly off. she glanced up at the sky and watched with amusement as they all flew off leaving a few feathers to float around one landing on her nose she let out a loud sneeze. if this didn't alert the brown wolf then nothing would.

Peloria had just finished gulping down her last intake of water when she saw a large flock of birds take to the air. Alarmed, Peloria whipped her head around to see a dark, muddy wolf sneezing in the rummage of feathers. The slim wolf's hackles rose, her ears pointing forwards cautiously. "And who might you be?" She said stiffly; the wolf before her looked potentially threatening, if not savage.

Traumer held her ground and stood tall. Puffing her chest out she responded "i am Traumer. i was not aware these lands where occupied by another wolf i did not scent any other wolves in this area i am just here to wash my self and drink then i shall be on my way." she showed no sign of submission there was no chance she would bow down to this wolf. a look of disgust crossed the she-wolf's face. this is why Traumer hated other wolves they judged right away and she hated the fact the where almost almost always right about her. She flicked her ears in annoyance.

Peloria kept her face a blank state. "I am Traumer. I was not aware these lands were occupied by another wolf... I did not scent any other wolves in this area. I am just here to wash myself and drink, then I shall be on my way," The other wolf began speaking and her words just kept coming. "So be it then, stranger. You don't need to explain yourself to me," She murmured the last part loud enough for the stranger to hear but softer than the rest.
[/blockquote][/blockquote] ooc; nowhere in my last post does it say my wolf had a look of disgust on her face. I let it slide this time, but that's powerplaying, although minor powerplaying, and I don't appreciate it.

Traumer nodded stiffly and made her way to the lake. once she made it there she growled at her reflection and splashed at the water. she really did look like a savage beast. Traumer waded out into the water. She tried to push back the tears but had no such luck. They pooled in her eyes and ran down her fur. The tried as best as she could to get all the dirt off. The water around her turned a mucky brown color. As she moved to get out she saw a fish. with her mouth water ing she scooped it up on her jwas and bit down slightly to kill it. she waded back onto land and droped the fish at her paws. she took a few bites and noticed the other she wolf still there. she glanced at the fish and back at the she wolf. Traumer decided that she would be nice and share the fish. once again she scoped it up in her jaws and walked over to the she wolf. she dropped the fish at her paws and pushed it to her." you look hungry." she murmured. Traumer glanced back at the lake and walked back to it and bowed her head to drink. The cool water soothed her dry throat.

Peloria nodded in response as the stranger nodded at her. The female took herself out to the water, where Peloria watched quietly as she seemed to be battling something. It took the skinny she-wolf a few minutes to realize the stranger wasn't battling anything physical, it was something in her mind. Peloria let her long legs carry her a few feet farther away, letting the stranger have her space. She couldn't tell for sure, but she thought she saw the grown female crying, and Peloria's ears flicked back as she didn't quite know what to do except say nothing.
Then, she heard a snap of jaws and a fish's life being sucked from the earth and soon the splashing sound stopped and a fish was flung over to her feet. "You look hungry," the stranger murmured. Peloria looked down at the fish and then up at the stranger, a tad confused. "You take your pick of it. You caught it, and I am able to hunt for myself," Peloria said carefully, gently. "But once you're done, I'll accept your gift," She said lightly, laughing softly.

Traumer grinned slightly and settled down to eat. After she had take a few bites and filled her growling belly she nudged the fish to the stranger. "And whom would you be if i may ask?" Traumer questioned. She studied the brown she-wolf she look well fed must be a lot of food here. With that thought Traumer decided it might not be so bad to settle down here for a while. She had been travelling a long time and she was tired physically and mentally. She could use the food and rest seeing as she was as skinny as a twig and tired as heck. Traumer could find a nice spot to make a den, And could see herself here for awhile.
