Winds blew in all sorts of directions this time of year. The different temperatures and weather types were throwing many for a bit of a loop this season, and Peloria would be the first to admit that she was one of them. The fall colors were gorgeous, and she loved the crunch of crisping vegetation under her step. However, her bones were chilled to the core at night, and she was beginning to realize she was going to have to either start making a real den, or to join a pack where she would be safe at night, along with a little less cold.
Her cinnamon dusted figure strode through the early morning coolness, her skinny frame just a dark figure moving through the tall grasses. She was of average coloring, was a little on the skinny side, and was averagely pretty. Peloria's wit and will power, however, is what stood her out from the rest. As she looked to the sky, she thanked her lucky stars that she had made it this far, and for a brief moment, felt the hand of her father's guiding prowess pressing softly on her shoulder. You have made me proud, fille. Tenez-vous fort.

A fast white figure ran through the tall grass. It jumped, and landed perfectly, and continued to run. Ears flew back, and a floppy pink tongue hung loose. Again, the young free creature jumped over a big rock, and landed. Limerick smiled from ear to ear with her mouth open, feeling the wind run through her fur. She always does this in the morning, remembering the early times from when she was a pup. When yet another rock came, Limerick ran faster, and jumped on top of it; and posed as she landed. Limerick then sat down, not tired, but just taking a break. She looked up, and just had to get rid of this big ball of energy inside of her. Limerick stood up, and put out her white paw with the faint tan spots on it, and gave out a howl that was so loud, strong, and beautiful, it would make a pup cry of joy. Limerick hopped off, and started to strut walk with her head held high and her eyes closed with a smirk on her face. Today, she was feeling confident, nothing could stop her from this feeling.
She was young.
Careless...
...And she ran into a tree.

The young female stood in the dark plains, looking outwards to the rest of the area. She knew the shack was a bit to the south of her, and she tried staying away from it as often as she could... There was always the possibility of someone else popping up over there. It was a great place to squat and hide out, but many people had the same idea. Peloria figured it was a bad place to go, so she stayed to the forest and plains border lands between the two areas.
Peloria's dark brown eyes looked out, trying to catch any movement in the murky light of the morn. It was a good hour before she spotted anything, and it seemed to be another wolf, young for sure, hopping about on rocks that stuck out of the grasses. Peloria, a bit surprised, hunkered down into the grasses and watched. This wolf was probably female, it seemed, from where she sat. The wolf danced about and strutted through the grasses, and Peloria watched intently, curious, and yet also a little confused.
Then, she watched the girl slam her face into a tree. Peloria snorted loudly, stifling a laugh and burying her head down into her paws, laughing silently to herself. She figured this would be an approachable wolf, and so she decided to come out of her hiding spot. Her skinny, lanky figure slipped through the vegetation silently and smoothly, and soon she was not fifteen feet from the stranger. "Why, that sure looked like it hurt," Peloria snickered, but not unkindly.

Limerick was now in a blurry and dizzy world. She heard an echoing laughter, followed by something coming towards her. Limerick shook her head once more and swallowed before speaking. "Yeah-s, it did. I'm Limmmmerick... you are?" Limerick bowed, but almost stumbled over. When she got up, she felt better, and nodded slightly. "I'm okay... I'm okay. I do not need to be pampered, but thank you!" Limerick tried not to say this in a mean way, and she didn't want for it to be mean; just telling the truth. She thought to herself on what exactly she did, and started to laugh. It was quite idiotic, and Limerick just rolled her eyes and thought to herself, Wow, not good for just meeting somebody, huh?
