Felan padded along a path he had made for himself in the forest when he arrived to the Kudos Pack. It was marked by a line in the soil below him as he moved along. He had made the line with a stick, he still remembered spending the whole morning dragging it along the ground about ten times until he though it was deep enough. By now it had flooded many times and had begun to naturally carve down, bugs making their homes in it's soft top, and seeds taking root here and there.
He had made this place to be alone in, when he felt like thinking to himself. He liked to do so when he wasn't in the best mood, and at this moment he was sad, thinking of his mother from long ago, abandoning him in the forest with the Genesis Pack. He had been given up. Unloved. The thought of his mother made him mad, and sad at the same time. He shook his head and tried to focus on the beautiful scene around him. The birds singing their songs, the scuttle of small animals around the forest as they ran across the forest floor. The plants swaying in the soft, cold breeze of autumn. He loved it in the forest.

The white she-wolf padded forward slowly. With legs as long as hers, she found that she had to walk a little more slowly than most others, else she might trip. Her slim neck snaked it's way around to look at her surroundings, the birds and other small mammals chirping and clicking pleasantly in the tops of the trees. The white woman's movements were quiet and smooth, one of the other reasons she kept her gaits slow; she didn't want to be discovered.
From up above, a larger bird, something similar to a crow or a raven, landed noisily on a branch. Jele looked up at the beast, scowling a bit but also looking at the black beast in a slight envy. She wanted to fly high above the tops of these trees, out of this world full of dead weights, and up into the roaring skies above.
A new scent entered her slim nose from just up to her left. She peeked her head through the trees as her legs slowly began pushing her forward once more. Her hips, swinging loftily from side to side, pushed her tail up and out and her neck arched gracefully for whoever she might meet today.

As he walked along silently across the forest floor, he picked up a small sound. Movement. Something had disturbed the calm forest, he just knew it. He slowly turned around and scanned the forest, but no sign of anyone. Still, he knew something was out there. He jumped away from his path into some bushes, landing clumsily, scaring a bird into squawking wildly and flying away in a flurry of feathers. His cover was blown now.. So he whispered out,
"Hello? It's me.. Felan of the Kudos pack." Maybe it was another wolf. Maybe he had nothing to worry about! What if it was a fox? A group of them, waiting to close in on him, their large group outweighing him and outnumbering him as well. No, he pushed away the thought. He was fine, safe in the comfort of his pack's land.

A voice rang out in front of her, not too far from where she stood. She could somewhat see who it was, too. A white male, slightly larger than she was and standing in a relaxed yet slowly becoming tensed position. A sly smirk crossed her thin jaws and she pressed herself up against a larger tree, curling her deep hips and waist around it.
"Oh, and you are of Kudos as well, friend?" Her smooth as ice voice cut through the slightly eerie silence of the trees. Her body snaked out from behind the tree's trunk and she made herself apparent to him. Jele's dark green eyes gazed straight at him, the slight coy smile still flirting with her own lips. "Jele a Beke, but you can call me Jele if you'd like to give your tongue a rest," She chuckled slightly, walking forward to where she was looking over her right shoulder at him.

"Uh..Hi there." His voice was shaky. Something was off here. This wolf was acting kind, but he had an uneasy feeling on her, still. He backed into his bush and jumped back onto his trail just below, sliding his paw over the line he had carved. It was comforting to know that was there and he thought of this as he safe spot. Jele.. Had he seen her before? Ah yes, but he never really talked to her. He began to run along his trail deeper into the cover of bushes and trees, because at the moment he didn't feel like dealing with Jele..

Jele rose one brow as she watched the male flee. She picked her way through the brush he disappeared into, attempting half-heartedly to find him once more, but couldn't see him after he disappeared. "Hello....?" She said at a medium volume, not wanting to attract unwanted attention to her from anyone else that might be listening, but attempting to throw her voice towards the fleeing male.

Felan stopped running and turned to Jele. "Um.. Are you going to hurt me?" He called down to her. His trust was not in her, not quite yet. Just for some reason, there was something off, but he tried to relax himself. He kept telling himself not to flee again, which was hard, but he held ground, not daring to take a step. Would she pursue him more if he left? Punish him for getting to close?
"I'm sorry for running, I just get nervous easily." He added to his question, trying to ease the tension that had built up inside him. The remark was true, he got scared quite easy, whether it was a shadow or a sound, it didn't matter really. It seemed the world was out to get him. Waiting around the corner was life, at it's side waiting to take him out just as it brought him in.. unmercifully. That's how he thought of it all.

As Jele attempted to follow the smaller male, she laid her ears back in frustration. "Where the hell... Why am I even trying," She murmured irritably to herself. Then, he poked his head out from behind some bushes. "Um.. Are you going to hurt me?" He said from above her.
Jele raised a brow some what annoyed-like. "Unless you do something to offend me, most likely not." She growled. Her tail swished and curled around her back legs. "I'm sorry for running, I just get nervous easily." The tension was beginning to pour out of him, and she felt the own irritability in him beginning to evaporate. She hopped up the mossy ledges to where he stood, moving slowly so he wouldn't be too alarmed. Soon she was up next to him, and she extended her neck and muzzle to meet the side of his neck with the side of her head. "Do not be afraid," She purred to him.

A sense of relief came into Felan's head and he sat down, a bit more relaxed. Jele didn't seem so bad, and maybe he'd give her a chance. "Umm.. So whats up?" He asked politely. First he would learn more about how she was, and her personality that would come through her words. Then, he could trust her depending on what he thought of her. The sun was aimed at his eye through an opening in the trees, and he had to squint to keep his eyes open. After a while he had gotten tired of it, so while waiting for Jele's reply, he slightly shifted his body to the side to avoid the ray of bright sun. Much better.

At Jele's touch, her pack mate seemed to relax a bit. Jele smiled softly to him, pleased. He sat down, and Jele followed suit, letting her long legs fold under her petite waist. Her long white tail bundled her feet up and she stood tall, looking elegant in the early morning rays of sun.
"Umm.. So whats up?"
Jele snorted a little, laughing gently. "Really? We just chased each other around in the woods for a good ten minutes," She looked at him, not harshly.
