(THIS IS NOT A PICK-UP THREAD) kodiak sat by a tree and laid in the warmth of the sun.she rumbled happily as she stretched. a small smile played kodi's lips. she lay down in the lush grass and thought about stuff. suddenly a noise entered her ears, it was pawsteps. she twitched her black ear and lifted her head up. 'Salutations',she called. |

Alaric trotted through the forest glancing every once in awhile at trees and little creatures that scurried by him occasionally he stopped as he heard a greeting being called on the left side of him. curious to find out who it was he walked over to the direction it came from to find a black she-wolf lying the grass who he immediately recognizes as Kodiak he barked in greeting "well hello there Kodi" he said

Alaric smiled "oh yes i completely agree on that one" he said cheerfully "well i was just on my way to scout the territory for any intruders as well as grab a bite while i was at it, would you care to join?" he asked the young she-wolf he realized it'd probably be less unbearably boring if he were to have some company and make it possible to get a bigger catch even though he knew he was capable of taking down a buck himself but still it'd be nice to get to know Kodiak a bit more to see how she really was.

Alaric shook his head as he pulled back on his haunches slightly before racing after her, gaining speed as well as rapidly approaching her "so do you want to hunt or patrol first?" he barked in her ear as he passed her taking the lead in their little race There is no wolf that i know who can out run me he thought to himself but who knows.

she laughed, but a sudden voice asked her.'let's patrol first',she called. then the white flash past her. she wouldn't give in easily. she packed on the speed and came to where she was few ten steps ahead. her blue eyes danced with excitement.

"alright then, we'll race to that oak tree over there" he barked when he caught up to her. Once again he kicked back on his haunches and let out a snarl as he increased his speed immensely, darting for the Oak tree located just ahead of them. I won't loose he thought proudly as he pushed himself to run faster, at top speed.
