Traumer cautiously crept out into the open. With a quick glance around she decided its safe. The wind whipped her grey black fur around and relaxed her tense muscles. She sighed and rolled out her shoulders. she had a long journey and finally found a place she could live with... for the time being. sitting down Traumer lifted her nose the the sky and sniffed. Checking to see if there was any thing out there lurking.

Bella walked along her usual morning path, past her temporary camp at the edge of the lake and out towards the abandoned shack. The ground was rather warm for an autumn day, the desert like terrain littered with leaves that had been carried out of the forest by the breeze. It was a nice day out, the sun shining with a cloudless sky, no scent of coming rain. But, as she neared the old shack, she spotted a figure in it's shadow. Someone new, that she had never met. Well, it was time to make another friend! She picked up her pace and neared the stranger, and gave a nice warming smile.
"Hey there! Are you new around here, because I've never seen you before." She scanned the wolf quickly, and by the look of it, she wasn't in the best condition. It looked like she had been traveling for a while before, and seemed relaxed to be here. No threat really.

Tramuer jumped at the sound of the she-wolf's voice. She got into a protective crouch. a growl tore its way through her chest. "stay back" she rasped her voice cracking in places. she grimenced in both pain and horror. hearing her own voice after so long startled Traumer. she hadn't heard it scince her brother died

"Whoa, whoa. Settle down," She said calmly. "I'm here to help" A smile came across her face as she tried to calm the new she wolf. She didn't want a fight; she hated fights, any kind. Plus, she needed to keep her vow to her dead kin to stay peaceful, no matter what she did. So that nothing like the incident.. Just peace.

Slowly Traumer stood tall and puffed out her chest a bit. Clearing her throat she spoke "i am Traumer. do you occupy these lands? i wasn't aware if so i will leave right away." She showed no sign of submission. Standing proud and tall Traumer showed no weakness, and no emotion. she had learned to control her emotions very well over the years.
Traumer glanced down at her appearance. these last few years hadn't been kind to her. her fur was rugged and matted. her eyes a dull purple held no life in them and she was as skinny as a stick.

"Oh no, I don't own this place. Actually, no packs live here, even though there are some far away." She said with a warm smile and a soft gaze. "This is the loner's land, so that means we can live in peace alone. Here, why don't we take a walk and I'll explain?" It was a nice day out, not a cloud still, and the sun was spreading warmth over the slightly frosted ground. As she looked out over the dry area, she only saw little bits of green here and there, but not much really.

Traumer glanced around cautiously expecting a whole pack of wolves to jump out and ambush her. After a long hesitation she spoke again "i guess i could perhaps talk a walk to learn more." she stood up and stretched wincing in the process as her leg began to ache with an all to familiar pain. she slowly limped over to the she-wolf. "I didn't formally get to introduce my self i am Traumer. yes strange i know." she rasped her dry throat making it hard for her to talk properly

"Hmm, why don't we go to my place, by the lake.." She said. This wolf obviously needed to get cared for, and she was willing to help a person in need. "It's warm and sheltered with water and food like fish and rabbits." Now, she noticed that she herself was tired. She had left early this morning for her walk, to make sure to fit in a lot of hunting for the winter. Prey would get scarce; she needed supply. She also built up more of a permanent shelter for the winter, packed with leaves sticks and such, all shoved into a clearing of bushes large enough for her, food, and even a guest. She could squeeze this.. Traumer in for a while.
"Also, I'm Bella. Nice to meet you!" She focused her attention back to the present, taking herself away from the near future.
OOC: If we go to the lake we need to close this thread and continue it in the lake board.

Traumer nodded stiffly, Still she did not fully trust this she wolf but food and shelter would do her some good. Traumer sensed the she-wolf's thoughts and took a few steps back. sitting down her head held high she waited until the she wolf would lead the way. leaving her to her thoughts she entered her own. not sensing when the she-wolf spoke to her. Traumer was to consumed in her thoughts to notice any thing at the moment. Her thoughts carried her to her past. All her family dead, She never really had any friends as a pup. All in all she never really had a childhood that she could remember
